Killed by Border Patrol Agents Feb 1, 2008
There is no law about giving a ride
to those that stand along the roadside.
Be it for 1, or many,
It's your choice you see
For we live in the land of the free....
FREE to CHOOSE how YOU pursue
To LIVE YOUR LIFE OF LIBERTY.
Ronnie Duegans' plan in this impoverished land
wasn't to make a fortune, but only a few bucks.
And with 7 human beings he should of had good luck!
Never once was his thought that he might get shot
By those that patrol the wild, west border show.
They called him an American Coyote,
But they treated him like the big, bad wolf!
Where's the future in that plan?
Where's their firing proof?
What was the last vision in Ronnie's head
before the bullet passed through?
What was the thought of the patrolmen
before they re-wrote the truth?
All I know is life is so fleeting!
Dear LORD, please don't let me miss a thing!
Potrero's location is next to the Mexico/US border, where we have been seeing an escalation of violence on both sides.
When I say sides, I mean on the Border Patrol vs. the immigrants battle to come to this land.
Unfortunately, American civilians are in the middle of this battle, and casualtites are being incurred!
Excessive force is becoming the first corse of action, which is totally unnecessary in the 21st Century.
